I have worked for nearly 30 years in education.  As well as teaching languages, I have always been interested in supporting young people and staff with their mental health, working as a Head of Year and alongside students whose first language was not English.  I have a keen interest in other cultures.  I am a qualified humanistic and integrative counsellor and I completed my diploma at the Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling.  I have been helpfully supervised to set up my own private practice.  I have several  years' experience as a volunteer bereavement counsellor with Cruse, a role I value highly.
